Have You Heard That Key Cards Can Be Easily Copied?

Have you heard the stories about key card access control systems getting hacked with duplicate cards?  The tool that can do this can be purchased on many websites including eBay for as little as $10.00 including shipping.

FaceKey bought one and yes it really works.  The entire process only took less than 5 seconds and was easy to do.  We were not able to tell the difference in the original and the copy.

Your Risk:  Your risk is that a person can copy one of your access cards and gain access with the card that has no signs to show it is a duplicate.

WHICH CARDS ARE AT RISK:  Card Copiers similar to the one we purchased can copy the popular 125kHz card types, but it cannot copy most of the 13.56MHZ “Smartcards” because most of the 13.56 MHz formats have been encrypted.  These Smartcards are more expensive but card copiers are available which can copy even some 13.56MHz cards.  So, using 13.56 MHz Smartcards is no sure guarantee it cannot be copied.  Even if it cannot be copied, it can be stolen, left at home, shared or lost.

FOR GENUINE IDENTIFICATION?  FaceKey’s Access Control Systems use a biometric reader, fingerprint or face recognition, as a credential which cannot be copied and used by another person to gain access.  And, if you do not want to get a new system, the FaceKey readers can replace only your card reader and it will no longer be possible to copy the credential, i.e. fingerprint or face.

CAN FaceKey QUOTE a new fingerprint or face recognition system or the cost to replace your card readers with fingerprint or face recognition readers.  The FaceKey access control system or readers will not have the credential risk and will be easy to install and use.
